Week Before:
- Know shoot details
- Date, Time (local time), location, shoot type
Airspace and LAANC
- LAANC requests must be made 72hrs (3 Full Days) prior to the shoot date and time
- There are no penalties if you submit a LAANC request and don’t fly or if you submit multiple (i.e. you don’t know the exact shoot date but it's either Tuesday or Wednesday) so as soon as you get assigned a shoot, we suggest checking airspace and submitting LAANC requests.
The Night Before
- View Portal Notes to determine what gear will be needed (Ground Camera?, Flash?, Laptop?)
- Plan ahead and consider the # of batteries your will need.
- Ideally you will not need to charge any batteries at the client site.
- Look at travel distances and set a leave time to ensure you will make it there with enough time to park and arrive on-site (We recommend planning to be there 15 minutes prior!)
- Format Memory Cards, Update Software/Firmware, Set Settings
- Have your bag packed and organized!
SD Cards
- Always go to the shoot with your cards formatted
- On-Site do not format your cards!
- If you are getting an error and must reformat your cards, first transfer all files over to you SSD and make sure all files on there are in working order.
Clothes and Presentation
- Pilots are the face of the company as they are always the ones on-site interacting with clients
- Dress Code
